Accounts Officer

Market & promote bank’s products and services (loans, savings & capital) to cooperatives, individuals and corporation;
Designs/develops financial packages for clients considering requirements, opportunities and risk and Bank's policies and practices, etc., for recommendation and approval by the Bank's approving authority.
Gather, screen and evaluate financial data and information on prospective and existing client/s to determine his future financial needs and capabilities.
Confers and discusses with clients the terms, conditions and scope of financial package offerings.
Responsible for the processing of loan applications and overall supervision of all accounts he/she handles from credit initiation, credit evaluation, recommendation up to all final liquidation of his recommended credits
Prepares and presents loan recommendations covering clients requested credit facilities for approval by approving authority.
Responsible in minimizing incidence of problem credits taking step to improve or strengthen the banks credit position once he sees sign of problem regarding the account.
Responsible in conducting periodic clients calls, project visits and accounts review of his/her accounts to appraise management on any development that may affect the capacity to pay of the borrower.
Monitors loan maturities, expiry of lines of payments/renewals and extensions.

- Preferably with experience in marketing of savings deposit, Loans (SME, Salary, Microfinance), and corporate loans.
- With experience in processing of loan
- Graduate of accounting, business administration & other related business courses.
- Able to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, analytical and with writing skills.
- Computer literate
