Public Area Attendant

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Cleaning and sanitation: They clean and sanitize public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, staircases, waiting areas, and other common areas. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying trash bins, and replenishing supplies like paper towels and hand soap.
-Maintenance: They report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel or department. This includes identifying broken fixtures, malfunctioning equipment, or any safety hazards that need attention.
-Trash and recycling: They collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials in designated areas, ensuring proper waste management and adherence to recycling guidelines.
-Restocking supplies: Public area attendants replenish supplies like toiletries, towels, tissue papers, and other consumables in restrooms, waiting areas, and other designated locations.
-Guest assistance: They assist guests or visitors by providing directions, answering questions, or offering general assistance when needed. They may also provide information about facilities, events, or other relevant details.
-Collaboration: Public area attendants may collaborate with other staff members such as housekeeping, maintenance, or security personnel to ensure the overall cleanliness and functionality of the facility.
-Safety and security: They may monitor public areas for any security concerns, reporting suspicious activities or potential safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
-Special events: During special events or high-traffic periods, public area attendants may assist in setting up and organizing the space, ensuring it is clean and presentable for the event attendees.
