Pharmacist

Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hospital Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Hospital Pharmacist at AUFMC, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our facility.

Responsibilities:

-Dispense medications accurately and efficiently based on prescriptions and physician orders.
-Review medication orders for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
-Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication therapy, side effects, and precautions.
-Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
-Participate in the development and implementation of medication use policies and protocols.
-Maintain accurate and complete patient medication profiles, including medication histories and allergy information.
-Monitor and manage medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of medications.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice related to medication safety and security.
-Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use, adherence, and potential side effects.
-Conduct medication therapy reviews and make recommendations for therapeutic interventions.
