Dietician

Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFWMC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietician to join our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. As a Dietician at AUFWMC, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nutritional care to our patients, ensuring their well-being and recovery.

Responsibilities:

-Assessing and Evaluating: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and analyzing laboratory data. Evaluate patients' dietary habits, allergies, and preferences to develop personalized nutrition plans.
-Nutrition Counseling: Provide expert advice and individualized counseling to patients on proper nutrition, including meal planning, portion control, and dietary modifications. Educate patients and their families about the importance of nutrition and lifestyle choices in managing and preventing health conditions.
-Treatment Planning: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans. Recommend appropriate dietary interventions and monitor patients' progress, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
-Education and Training: Conduct educational sessions and workshops for patients, families, and staff members on various nutrition-related topics. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and share relevant knowledge within the healthcare team.
-Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patients' nutritional assessments, interventions, and progress. Generate reports and communicate findings effectively to the healthcare team, ensuring continuity of care.
-Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, assist in developing policies and procedures related to nutrition services, and contribute to the enhancement of patient care and outcomes.
