Freight Dispatcher

Duties and Responsibilities
▸ Receives and reviews booking information from the booking summary
▸ Prepares dispatch plans
▸ Receives and runs through documents in order to draft, or prepare a dispatch plan,
▸ Conduct briefing with the driver, processor, and checker
▸ Prepares purchase orders for fueling of planned equipment on the dispatch plan
▸ Retrieves and inspects transfer/retrieval documents.
▸ Obtains and proofreads documents within the required timeframe.
▸ Prepares, reviews, and submits documents within the required timeframe.
▸ Retrieves documents to ensure that those documents are returned in full, complete, and with correct information
▸ Populates information onto database systems, or software

• At least a graduate of any four (4) year bachelor's degree
• At least with two (2) years of work experience as a truck dispatcher.
• Preferable with work experience in the logistics and transportation industry (particularly container and non-container trucks)
• Possess at least an 'Intermediate' level of competency in Transport Operations Acumen.
• Able to work in a physically demanding work environment • With good moral character and possessing no derogatory records.
