Freight Operations Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:
▸ Reviews booking information to ensure a deeper understanding of customer requirements
▸ Prepares a Freight Plan for FCL/LCL/LC/Rolling Cargoes
▸ Communicates, or books with carriers, truckers, and other vendors
▸ Performs outbound documentations activities and/or receives and acknowledges
> inbound documentation following applicable, and prevailing standards
▸ Sends pre-alert to branches / cargo agents in a timely manner
▸ Ensures that Cargoes accepted for consolidation are properly documented and that volume and ageing are monitored for proper scheduling of departure.
▸ Performs Cargo Monitoring and ensures that current states (a.k.a. status) are available for each cargo subject to monitoring

• Holder of any four (4) year college degree, but preferably related to transportation and logistics
• With at least (2) years of experience in freight and logistics planning, coordination, and monitoring, particularly with the domestic or local movement of cargo within the Philippine Archipelago (e.g. Luz-Vis and Min, and vice-versa).
• Willing to work with long working hours including interchanging day and night shifts.
• Competent in decision-modeling, team orientation, strong work ethics, customer centricity, innovativeness, professional communication
• Competent in cargo handling, materials management, operational risk avoidance, and transport operations acumen.
• With good moral character and no derogatory records
