Finance Associate

-Preparation of accounting entries, except for petty cash replenishments Preparation of account schedules and reconciliation for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts
-Prepare bank reconciliation as per prescribed deadlines
-Validate transactions in expense liquidation and reimbursement reports and ensure that receipts/ invoices and supporting documents are complete
-Monitor cash advances and liquidations
-Assist in the preparation of tax return schedules and/or attachments
-Support in the administration of interim and annual financial statements audit as well as periodic internal audit
-Organize and maintain digital and physical records of accounting
-Act as petty cash custodian in Finance
-Support the rest of the organization on finance and accounting matters Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Immediate Head

What we are looking for?
-A degree in Accounting or a related field
-At least one (1) year experience in bookkeeping
-Knowledge and competency in accounting principles
-Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and bookkeeping
-Adept computer skills and proficiency using an accounting software and Microsoft Excel
