Company Nurse

The Company Nurse/Safety Officer is responsible for receiving employees for first aid treatment, gathering, safekeeping, releasing of employee medical data, information or medical examination results as authorized. He or she will also function as the company's Safety Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Verify submitted medical and fit-to-work certificates of employees
-Assist in scheduling and implementation of annual physical exams for all employees.
-Document summary of APE results and create workplace plans and programs based on APE results.
-Monitor weekly the usage of medicines and conducts inventory of current medical supplies. Recommend new medicines/supplies if necessary.
-Make purchase orders for replenishment of medicines. Ensures that the workplace is safe from any physical e chemical hazards
-Conducts periodic safety meetings and submits reports as requested
-Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. Create programs such as company policies, investigate in cases of accidents, and implement post-injury follow up procedures for workers.
-Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
-Acting as Safety Officer or part of Safety Team.
-Conducts Health and Safety programs and trainings to employees
-Accomplish the Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report in duplicate using the prescribed from DOLE/BWC/HSD-IP-6b, which shall be submitted to the DOLE.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse with valid PRC License
• COSH/BOSH Certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• A warm and caring disposition.
