Company Nurse

-Provides on-site first-aid treatment to sick or injured employees/contractors/visitors.
-If necessary, accompanies the sick or injured person to the nearest HMO clinic/hospital for further emergency treatment.
-Ensures that first-aid kits are available, fully-stocked and accessible to all plant employees.
-Ensures that the clinic is set-up properly and fully-equipped in accordance with occupational safety & health standards/ requirements; keeps the clinic clean, orderly and secure; keeps all medical tools and equipment secure and in good working condition.
-Responsible and accountable for the receipt, storage, issuance, recording and disposal of all medicines inventory kept on site; Prepares medicines inventory report monthly.
-Administers and coordinates the annual physical examination (APE); Keeps track of medical reports arising from the APE exercise; Ensures medical clearance is obtained before fit-to-work decision is issued.
-Assists in the processing of employees’ HMO claims in accordance with company and HMO policies.

-College graduate from a reputable university in Industrial Psychology, Sciences or a related course
-Must possess the required industrial nursing qualification
-Must have at least two (2) years prior work experience in the same capacity
-Preferably with exposure in a industrial manufacturing plant environment
-With working knowledge of ISO quality system
-Highly proficient in the use of MS Office or equivalent applications
