Geodetic Engineering

As a Geodetic Engineer, you will play a critical role in surveying and mapping the Earth's surface, providing accurate and precise measurements for various engineering and construction projects. Your expertise will help in determining land boundaries, developing topographic maps, and supporting infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct precise geodetic surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technologies, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanning.
-Analyze and interpret geodetic data to determine the shape, contour, and dimensions of land areas.
-Prepare detailed maps, reports, and documentation based on survey data.
-Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and urban planners to provide geospatial information for construction and development projects.
-Establish and maintain geodetic control networks.
-Monitor and analyze the movement and deformation of structures and land surfaces.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to surveying and mapping.
-Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze and present geospatial data.
-Conduct research and development to improve geodetic survey methods and technologies.
-Provide expert advice on geodetic and surveying matters to stakeholders.
