IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT systems, and ensuring optimal performance of technology resources. The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
-Respond to and resolve IT support requests from end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

2. System Maintenance:
-Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems and equipment.
-Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
Installation and Configuration:
-Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Set up user accounts and manage access permissions.

3. Documentation:
-Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
-Create and update technical documentation and user guides.

4. User Training:
-Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and best practices.
-Assist in developing and delivering IT training sessions.

5. Security:
-Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
-Assist in protecting the organization’s IT assets and data from security threats.

6. Project Support:
-Assist in IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
-Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure successful project completion.

7. Inventory Management:
-Manage and track IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
-Ensure timely procurement and deployment of IT resources.
