Tax Officer

Work Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• BIR Compliance - Timely preparation of tax reports and computation. Prepares the tax computation and checks compliance with the tax rules and BIR regulation.
• Ensures that data extracted are complete, accurate and within the closing due date.
• Files all BIR returns and corresponding attachments on or before the BIR due date.
• Prepares corresponding reconciliation of the tax computation (sales, purchases, withholding tax payable, VAT payable and income tax payable).
• Coordinates with other section for the confirmation and clarification of unusual transaction which could affect tax computation.
• Prepares journal entries for the tax payments and adjustments based on the result of the analysis, if any.

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Publc Accountant (CPA).
• At least 5 years of work experience in government compliance both in National and Local Government Unit (LGU) - (specify industry, field of specialization, number of years, etc).
• Must have a strong background in the Food Industry.
