Purchasing Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff to join our team. As a Purchasing Staff member, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct research to identify reliable suppliers and vendors, obtaining quotes, and evaluating their capabilities, product quality, and pricing.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine purchasing needs, specifications, and budget requirements for various departments.
-Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
-Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers, maintaining a balance between quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
-Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
-Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including supplier information, contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
-Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process, implementing strategies to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
-Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments, recommending changes or alternative suppliers as necessary.
-Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
-Assist in vendor relationship management, fostering positive partnerships and addressing any concerns or performance-related matters.
