Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for:

-the accurate and timely last pay computations, including consolidating and printing of last pay documents
processing payroll of trainees and interns on a semi-monthly basis
-ensuring completeness and accuracy of payroll information encoded in the payroll systems
-updating salary information in the payroll systems
-addressing and resolving employee pay-related concerns
-processing SSS sickness, maternity, and paternity benefit, including monitoring of SSS reimbursements
-preparing contribution certificates for SSS, PHIC, and HDMF
facilitating, requesting, and sending of e-gift cards to birthday celebrants
-assisting in the preparation of year-end payroll tax filings and audit

-A bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or any other related field
-Strong background in account analysis and payroll processing, taxation, compliance to government agencies, including PEZA, SSS, PHIC, HDMF, and BIR
-Experience as a Payroll Specialist of at least 5 years
-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team
-Willing to work onsite
