Procurement Officer

Job Summary:
The Procurement officer is responsible for the purchase of equipment, vehicle spare parts and accessories, assessing products & prices and negotiation contracts with suppliers.

Job Description:
• Receives and keeps track of all request of the company for equipment, services, materials and supplies.
• Canvass equipment, services, materials and supplies from the different suppliers and present a comprehensive Price Comparative Report and negotiations.
• Monitors all P.R.’s being handled with P.O.’s issued by maintaining record of all transactions, keeps track of status of pending orders by regularly coordinating with suppliers and advising concerned requisitioner thereof, conducting plant visits to check on progress of order under process.
• Seek for canvass/quote of materials as pre prescribed standards and approved plans.
• Validate the appropriate suppliers as applicable to materials requirement

Work Schedule: Mondays to Saturdays (7:00 am – 4:00 pm)

• Graduate of Engineering is an advantage or any related course
• With at least 2-3 years work experience in Procurement Management
• Work as Mechanic or with background in vehicle spare parts
• With experience in construction engineering, material sourcing and pricing
• Effective time management skills
• Effective negotiation skills
• Effective planning and forecasting skills
