The Air Cavaliers Credit Cooperative was founded on 1993 when seven (7) Air Force Officers, all graduates from the Philippine Military Academy, established the Air Cavaliers Savings and Loan Association Inc (ACSLAI), a savings and loan association with an initial working capital of Thirty-Five Thousand Pesos (P35,000.00).

The idea of putting up a savings and loan association came into being in order to support activities of the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc., Air Force Chapter. The initial operation was very conservative, with savings and loans transactions being processed at the CMO Office Headquarters, Philippine Air Force, equipped with only one table, a borrowed typewriter and a lone civilian employee.
After being recognized and its operation was going smoothly, came the idea to register the newly started financial association with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). When the group decided to register their savings and loan organization, it was one of the smallest organizations aspiring to make a name among the big players in the industry with only Thirty-Five Thousand Pesos (P35,000.00) as their initial seed capital.
To register a savings and loan association with the SEC at that time called for very stringent requirements and with these, the group decided to forego with their intent. With the group of persistent officers, they registered on 1993 their most loved financial organization with the Cooperative Development Authority under the name of Air Cavaliers Credit Cooperative or better known now as the ACCC.

Starting off with a small seed capital, the ACCC has grown to be the one of the household names in the financial industry. From being one of the smallest players in Villamor Air Base, ACCC has one (1) Business Center and ten (10) Satellite Offices located strategically in different PAF bases.

On July 23, 2015, ACCC has reached the milestone of being a One (1) Billion-Peso Cooperative. On May 2016, Cavalier Isagani P Silva (PMA Class 83) assumed the position of full time General Manager, a first in the history of the Cooperative. ACCC celebrated its 25th Silver Anniversary on September 10, 2018.
